The Elder Scroll Skyrim Vampirism Tutorial

Players can contract the vampirism disease, Sanguinare Vampiris, through combat with a vampire. The player will be notified when they have contracted the disease and will have 72 hours to cure his or her self. After 72 hours, the infected player will become a vampire, obtaining the abilities of a stage one vampire.

The Elder Scroll V: Skyrim Full Quest Guide

Two hundred years have passed since the Oblivion crisis, and it is now the year 4E 201. The High-King of Skyrim has been killed, and the threat of civil war looms over the land. One side is led by the Stormcloaks, who wish to secede from the crumbling Empire, whilst the opposing faction wishes to remain, believing the Empire is still worth fighting for. This schism is the final event in a prophecy foretold by the Elder Scrolls.
